The Road to Aachen starts in Hagen a.T.W.

The Covalliero Dressage Days featuring the FEI Nations Cup Dressage, are one of the most significant dressage events in the run-up to the 2026 FEI World Championships in Aachen. For the German dressage team hopefuls, the Nations Cup in Hagen a.T.W. is the second and final selection event. At the same time, numerous international nations are taking advantage of the proven excellent conditions at Hof Kasselmann and the special stadium atmosphere to test their best rider-horse combinations for the most important championship of the year.

The sporting highlights include the CDIO4* Grand Prix on Friday, the CDIO4* Grand Prix Freestyle on Saturday evening and the CDIO4* Grand Prix Special on Sunday. The Nations Cup is part of an extensive international dressage programme featuring one-, three- and four-star events.

For the third time, an international CPEDI3* for all levels of para-dressage will also be held. Hagen a.T.W. is thus one of the few venues in Germany where able-bodied and para-athletes compete side by side – creating space for exchange, inspiration and mutual appreciation.

Special Tip for Thursday, July 2

Even outside the show grounds, the region is all about the World Championships: Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, equestrian fans and soccer enthusiasts will gather at the Volksbank Sommerarena at Ledenhof in Osnabrück. Numerous stars of dressage and parasports will celebrate the start of the event in the Horses & Dreams VIP Area. Afterward, the band “SHIVER – A Thrilling Coldplay Journey” will create a concert atmosphere. Tickets are available starting at five euros at www.alando-sommerarena.de.
