24 Feb Dual European Championships at Hof Kasselmann
The FEI Dressage European Championships U25 2021 find a new, familiar home in Hagen a.T.W.
Hagen a.T.W. – The World Equestrian Federation (FEI) has awarded this year’s FEI Dressage European Championships for the U25 age category to Hagen, following the earlier allocation of the European Championships for senior riders. For the first time in the history of the Dressage European Championships, the competitions for U25 and seniors riders will take place in one location.
“It is with a certain pride that we, the Horses and Dreams Entertainment GmbH, can confirm the FEI Dressage European Championships for seniors from 07-12 September 2021 in Hagen am Teutoburger Wald. We are delighted to be able to add another highlight with the Championships for U25 riders,” announced Managing Director Ullrich Kasselmann. Donaueschingen was originally supposed to host the European Championships U25 this year; however, the organisers had to relinquish the contract due to the Corona pandemic.
The promotion of youth sport is particularly important to the Kasselmann family and they are very excited to give the next generation the opportunity to ride alongside the “big names” in September.
The team around Ullrich and Francois Kasselmann has a special track record in organising events at the highest level. For more than 20 years, top-class international shows have been held in the Osnabrück region, in the heart of Germany’s horse breeding regions. In addition to annual highlights such as Horses & Dreams meets … or Future Champions, the Borgberg venue has also hosted the 2005 Dressage European Championships, CDIO Dressage Nations Cup 2015 or the first European Championships for the U25 age group in 2016.
The recently founded Horses and Dreams Entertainment GmbH is currently working on the organisation of the dual European Championships. Fans of international show jumping will also be in for a treat in September: “We are putting together a very special hippological bouquet,” reveals Ulli Kasselmann.
